The Fred Levin Way Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation whose mission is to hold an annual festival in Pensacola, Florida, to honor Fred and Marilyn Levin and their desire to help families in need in Northwest Florida.

Each year, this free community festival, known as The Fred Levin Way Fest, brings together more than 60 nonprofits that provide services to families and individuals in need. These nonprofits distribute information on the free services they provide along with gifting essential items, such as backpacks, blankets, books, diapers, first aid kits, hygiene kits, pet food, school supplies, soap, socks, thermometers, toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels, and underwear. The festival additionally provides free food, entertainment, and prizes to those in attendance.

Our History

Our Foundation was formed in 1992 as The Levin & Papantonio Family Foundation, Inc.

The Foundation was formed to promote organizations and reward individuals dedicated to caring for and assisting children with the basic needs of life– food, shelter, clothing, a safe home environment, and education.

The Foundation initially contributed to public and private organizations and individuals who provided assistance to less fortunate families. The Foundation contributed more than $3 million to various causes.

After Fred Levin's death in 2021, the name of the Foundation was changed to the Fred Levin Way Foundation, Inc., with its current mission to host an annual free festival to help Northwest Florida families and individuals in need.
